FEATURES :
- Relieves excess pressure and maintain constant inlet pressure – Relief function
- Acts to prevent pressure from falling below set-point (minimum) – Sustaining function
- Will accurately provide steady inlet pressure over a wide range of flow
- Adjustable inlet pressure done through control pilot
- Opening / closing speed can be controlled
Valve Operation :
- Relief function
under normal operating pressures, the valve remains closed. When pressure rises above setpoint, valve opens to purge out excess pressure. Once pressure drops to below sent-point, valve goes to close - Bypass Pressure Control function
It modulates and maintains a “set-point” pressure as required - Back pressure / Sustaining Function
Vale will open under normal operating conditions and will close when upstream pressure falls below set-point
